Ahh, so not really happening. Well the only reason was cause the more curved body look newer. But, I just saw a 2003 Club Car, and had the same bosy as mine. Heres a picture of a 2006 Club Car -

You only think the bodies are the same. Some things cannot be picked up by the eye.

The rear body is substantially different. They're both made of a material that's virtually indestructible called ArmorFlex. The 1992 and older carts had a plastic front body and fiberglass rear.

I might put a higher powered motor, that hits 23MPH. But that would be later. I just want to install some lights on front and rear and then paint it black. With white seats, instead of blue. Then a new dash. Then later on I would sell it. I saw a 1992 Club Man, hit and cracked body with a charger and 2 year old batteries Sold for $ 1,200.00

Nono do those clubcar frames bend like the old ezgos when they get hit? My 3 wheeled got hit(before i got it) and the whole backend is crooked.

The old ones did. The ones made after 1992/3 are extremely stout.

The only reason the older ones did was because the suspension had literally NO fore/aft give to it; only up and down. The new ones have redesigned delta A-plates that allow it to absorb impact and spring back into place if hit.

They completely redesigned the frames for the 1998 model year to only use two I-beams that run the entire length of the vehicle. The 1997 and older gas cars had two beams that ran from the front bumper and met with the middle cross member, and two that went from right behind the front wheels to the rear bumper. The 1998+ frames are much, much more rigid.

1991:

1998+:
You can sort of see how the I-beam moves to the middle of the vehicle after it goes by the cross member.

Make sure you are buying a quality charger, the Lester chargers Club Car use are made to fail properly during a lightning strike, etc... the cheap ebay chargers are made to put in a trash can...

With that being said, you can catch good deals on used lester chargers on ebay.... I just never liked E-bay too much..

I returned the cart and got an 1996 Club Car Gas - check out my thread in the Members Ride, its the thread called 1996 Club Car Gas Project.

I just posted pictures a week ago, and posting new pictures tomarrow. Its
going to be nice. I just traded the front cowl for the rear body. And getting
the front for $ 40.00, just what I paid. Its going to be done within a few weeks.
