Brakes? I don't know. I hope to work on it after work. The goal is to find the serial number then steam clean. I think I will start with the steam cleaning. That way I might find the number under the moss and dirt.

i didn't ask you bout brakes scotty did lol but i just redid mine was able to get most parts new off eastcoastcarts. good luck lol

Well after some time steam cleaning. There was no luck on the serial #. I even put it on it's side. Man this cart is light. I did get the data tag off the motor. It is a Westinghouse 2HP 36Volt 53AMP. I might google this motor to find an age. Other than three layers of paint. I think it will be a GREAT Cart. Thank you for your inputs. I think I have a great plan for upgrading the electrical. My friend is a great electrical fork lift tech. I will do two different stages. I will post my findings for all to see what I find.
