thank all of you for your replys! i have a little more to investigate, and hope i find a fair deal. pretty expensive, but if maintained properly bet i get a good 5-6 years out of my "new bats". knew going into this i'd have to replace them, bought a 6 year old club in excellent condition and the batteries have let me drive daily for over a year now.

I think DECA goes next to the energizers on that list. I have several sets of both in some carts. They are new to 8 months old and are well maintained. Time will tell.....Pick a number, 1 yr. 2,3,4,5yrs.?6.7.8.?? I'll let you know the results in 2017.
My Dad is cheap! He won't spring for the good stuff, I bet they make four good years.

Not sure about DEKA as far as longevity, but their specs don't measure up to the Trojan's and US Batteries. When spending this kind of money why not spend $100.00 to $150.00 more for batteries you know are good.

I've had US batteries in my cart for 4 years, 3 years in a 3 wheel 1965 golfsters and 1 year in an 1981 club car. I average charging the batteries around 60 times per year and usually put on between 18 to 36 holes between charges and I'm still getting 36+ holes on the cart before needing a charge. The only thing I do to the batteries is keep them clean and add distilled water when needed.
