I was thinking... Is there anyway to install a alternator on a electric cart? You could use a belt from the rear axle, or whatever spins and just keep going?
Thats something I want to find out. |

Are you asking if you can install an alternator to recharge your batteries while driving?

It won't provide enough power to compensate for what you are taking out. If it could the big oil companies would go broke and men in black suits wearing sunglasses would pay you a visit.

It would just be more drag and drain the batteries even faster.
Unless a company can come up with a design that has an extremely high output and requires a minuscule amount of energy to turn, you're out of luck. |

It would be interesting to see if they could manufacture a motor that has a second set of coils that feed back into the batteries. |
