Default Melted a batt. post

Newer batts. all connections looked good, except for one that may have been jiggling a little. Would this have fried the post, or should I look further. Thanks in advance.

HEY BRS! Well...if the cart was running fine before chances are yes, that connection that was loose is the culprit. You do know how to repair the terminal right?

A word of caution on this repair: Although in the pictures the repair is being illustrated on a junk battery and it doesn`t matter here, make sure your battery caps are in place. You don`t want to get any of the shavings down in the battery, and i like to use stainless steel studs.

Thanks for the info. Luckily, it didn't melt the post completely. I'll post a pic....and you guys tell me. It seems to still be functional.
