My 1981 CC. picture incl. plans abound.
Here's a pic. this is the day I picked it up. So far I have the front end tore off, and am in the process of rebuilding it completely. All new bushings (custom made oil impregnated bronze), New handmade king pins, new tie rods, and shocks, wheel hubs cleaned and painted black. Bearings clean and packed ready to go back on. all new grease fittings, and misc. bolts. to top it all off all parts will be painted black and clear coated for easy clean up.
Next will be the rear springs. They will get new bushings, paint, and I will make new shackles to lift the rear end just a couple inches. Then the cosmetics. all aluminum pieces will be pulled stripped, and polished, then clear coated again. any visible bolt will be stainless steel. Custom Billet seat adjustment nuts. custom billet F/R switch. I will add a homemade 3 section seat around the club well, so my sons can ride. I plan on adding a MP3 sound system, and an alarm (I had a car alarm layin around so why not right?). Rims painted, and new hubcaps added. custon pinstripes, and Ohio State logos. I might add some underglo to it as well ( if momma allows). If I have time I may make a custom rear bumper, and nerf bars. This is the before picture. Others to follow. |
