The reason I's asking is, I did not know the VGlide was ever used in 48 Volt carts ? |

Re: v glide
I have heard to check for a reading of 5k-o ohms. What am i checking when i look for this and which wires do i connect to? I don't think i nkow what i am asking really. My motor come back today and the company says that it is working fine with no problems. I do not understand where the loss of power has come from. I am charging back up tonight. I will take pot. off tomorow and check for smooth slide across contacts. Can you guys think of anything else for me to look at while i have got it off? I cleaned the contacts a while ago to eliminate a "skip" i had. That helped some, how can i tell if my pot. is allowing full throttle? The wiper goes all the way to last contact when pedal is full pushed.

Re: v glide
How have you checked your batteries? I ask because you are headed into some highly technical stuff right here and I don't want to see you get side tracked and in over your head when the basics are not yet covered? I would not guess there is trouble with the pot unless you have a dead spot at the end of the gas peddle travel. Like 3/4 throttle is the same as 100%.
