2007 Electric DS won't start

I have an electric Streetrod Golf cart which is built on a 2007 Club Car DS chasis. Today I was driving it and came around a corner. As soon as I came around the corner the engine quit on me, although my gauge indicated I had at least 50% power remaining in the batteries. I tried starting it and after several tries, it started. I was able to drive it for another mile, until I went over a speed bump, at which time the engine quit and I had to push it the rest of the way home. I tried to put a charge on it, but the charger would not turn on when connected. What is the problem with my cart?

WELCOME to BGW

Do you have a volt meter? (you will need one) Take a reading of the total pack voltage. You never want to run a pack down to 50% of capacity, not sure how your gauge works though. Check all your connection real good and take a pack reading then report back.
