Still Can't Remove %^&@# Reverse Handle!
I'm trying and trying but still cannot get the F/R handle off of my '02 DS. I need to remove it since I'm removing the rear body for paint this coming week. I've lubed it, heated it banged on it-nothing! If I take a Dremel to it and cut it is there anything to watch out for? Believe me, I'd rather not go this route but I have run out of ideas...anybody?

just had the same problem I just cut it with hacksaw down to shaft in little pieces. Then broke away the pieces. Figure I can get new one from buggies or somewhere.

New isn't much, 5.00 or so, cut it off.

Yep got it. Wasnt too bad. That handle was packed with rust.

It Seems Like To Me That Screw Always Snaps Off. Then I Gotta Drill And Retap It.

Lucky You,i Am Surrounded By Salt Water Here. A Steel Framed Golf Car Has About A 15 Yr Life Span Here.
