Barn Find
I brought home a new toy last night. It has been sitting in a barn for the last year but does not move. Previous owner said he topped up the batteries on a regular basis and charges them but it does not move. First thing I did was clean the batteries and cables. 46V across the pack when reconnected. Turn key on and put into drive, reverse buzzer sounds. Take it apart and use the other set of contacts on it fixes that problem. Now I get a small click from the rear when depressing go pedal but no movement. It is up on stands.
So this is where I sit. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Whiskyb |

Re: Barn Find
You Have Got A Bad Battery In The Set,you Need At Least 50 Volts To Make It Run.

Re: Barn Find
You need a hydrometer to determine the health of all six you MAY have 6 weak and dying batts? Yes you can put 1 new in but it is not recommended cuz it will be just like the old ones in no time .... Post the serial # of the cart and the date code of the batteries here .... sounds like a 5 solenoid cart? 1st solenoid on the driver's side is the master it must click first then #2-5 are the speeds Bunch of micro switches in a box at the end of the gas peddle linkage..... one for each solenoid. Glad to hear it is on blocks! Do not over rev the motor with no load. Have fun!

Enjoy your coffee guys, I topped up any low cells (2) with distilled and am recharging. Charger says that they are pulling 10 amps. Serial is A98836-692566
