Question intermittant Go/Nogo situation

While driving, sometimes when I let off the pedal and return, I lose power. I can hear the click of the switch but no power to the motor. After several attempts, it will eventualy start running again. I have checked and cleaned the V-glide in it. Any ideas out there. Appreciate any help. 1994 Clu Car

Intermittent electrical problems are hard to pinpoint ..... wait until it doesn't work, then check the F&R micro- switches for contiuity ... and the same with the solenoid.... Once in awhile one will click without actually working.

This is a start

Just Curious, Is It A Resistor Car Or One With A Controller?

It Sounds Like You Have A Controller Going Bad,it Is Getting Hot Inside And When It Cools Off Its Ok Again. Electrical Can Sometimes Really Drive You Nuts.

Thanks guys! I appreciate your replies. Scotty got me going in the right direction. Found the problem.. Loose connection between terminal#1 of the controller and the diode side of the selonoid. No problems now.

I did not think Vglide's had controllers only resistors?
