How to align steering wheel
I am the new owner of a 1997 CC DS and the steering wheel is about 90 degrees out. What I mean is when I go straight, the steering wheel is turned to the right about 90 degrees. How do I correct this?

Re: How to align steering wheel
You are gonna have to pull the wheel and reset it. Likely what happened is the steering gear has jumped a tooth when the cart hit a curb hard or such....

Re: How to align steering wheel
I tried to remove the wheel but as I thought, I need a puller as it is really really stuck on there! Is there a special technique or a tool for pulling a plastic wheel off?

Re: How to align steering wheel
Hit it easy at first with a BFH, and then if it doesnt come off then hit it harder, and if you break it getting it off then I have a used one that I can send you as long as you pay the travel cost!!!

Re: How to align steering wheel
Put the nut back on but just about 3 threads on so it is not touching the wheel hub ... then set in the seat with a BFH put your feet on the dash and your knees behind the wheel now push on the wheel with your knees and try to force the wheel off while reaching around and smacking it with a BFH If this fails get or make a steering wheel puller

Re: How to align steering wheel
You could always tell the wife that it's broken and you have to buy a new cart?
