Taylor, I don't mean to highjack this thread but since were talking location of where we live I would just like to ask Radical where Linwood Michigan is? I am in Grand Rapids Michigan (actually Grandville, suburb of Grand Rapids).

Actully the rear you have is fine its the same rear used in a gas 84-96 club car. What your's does not have because it was electric is the forward/reverse unit which bolts on where the electric motor was installed. It is still quite a job to change over, Just wanted to let you know your rear with FNR unit would work nicely.

You can keep an eye out in the for sale section and ebay and you might find a used F/R unit. Honestly, I have never seen an F/R unit by itself. Might call aound and maybe someone will pull one for you. That should be cheaper than a whole rear, thats gonna make life easier to swap in a gas engine.

BUT, as some of the guys have said you can probly have that motor fixed for less than $300...maybe find a used one a lot cheaper. If you must have gas, fix the electric and sell it then buy a gasser.
