Default Cart Weight

98 Ds 48volt, anyone know roughly what it would weigh stock. I have a platform on the back of my fifth wheel for my 780lb Harley and was wondering how they compare. As a side note any rough guesses on a gasssers weight

Have a great weekend

Thanks, looks like I can give it a try then. Sure would be great to take it away with us. Someday I'll have a fancy fifth wheel toyhauler so I can take both

My Precedent with a rear seat and several extra's that make it a street legal, (windshield, seat belts, lights, etc.,) weighs 1,140 pounds. I had to get it weighed as part of the FLA street legal process.

Scubabud, that is a real nice clean looking cart. Do you think its your add on's or is it a heavier cart to start with.

Both actually. The rear seat is the biggest weight add on I'm sure. :) I'd go by what CC states for your particular cart with "WET" batteries as well. It should be very close to actual. :)

The round battery indicator gauge is actually useless by any practical means. The Digital Gauge is the only way to go since it reads in real time the actual battery voltage.

Be careful though, I used a ramp rated at 1500lbs to load my cart into a trailer last week and it could not handle it and buckled under the weight of the cart (and me).

Made in China?!?!?!? J/K

I purchased from Costco a while back aluminum folding ramps for $100 and they work great. I believe they also come in a one piece version. No flexing even with my 200 lb. fat butt on the cart going up the ramp!

P.S. I believe my ramps were made in China as well... :)
