Re: faster in reverse
Club car utilized a 1/2 speed reverse....... maybe you got the cable switched up and you have 1/2 speed forward?

Re: faster in reverse
So I guess the reversed cables should be easy enough to test.
1. Is there only 2 speeds in forward SLOW and Slow with little to no increase as you press the peddle ? 2. when in reverse does it pick up speed from slow to fast, the more U push the peddle ? |

Re: faster in reverse
In order to help. We need to determine if you are wired for 1/2 power forward. The cart was originally wired for 1/2 power reverse for safety reasons. OR.... if you are having a speed control problem with the V-glide and resistor pack. If you are capable of switching a few cables around and/or giving us some readings from a digital voltmeter we can help The digital voltmeter is a must.

Re: faster in reverse
Normally you can buy an inexpensive one at Lowe's, Wall Mart, Home Depot, or various
auto parts stores for $15-$25 dollars. A must have when owning/working a sparky |
