Default went through puddle and now it won't run

I have a 1996 Club Car 48 volt and took it through a 6 to 8 inch deep puddle the other day. About a minute afterward the cart stopped and won't run. I searched the archives and can't find any likely cause other than an electrical connection got wet. Can someone point me in the right direction? When I press the pedal it tries to move for about a tenth of a second then nothing. I checked the fuses and the charge. Both are fine...

justice, i had this same problem, with mine the forward and reverse switch got wet, I took a hair dryer and just dried it out after letting it sit overnight. Seemed to do the trick haven't had any problems since. Hope this helps.

What he said , wiggle and blow (these really should have been sealed)
for our own protection
Also check battery cables .

Still nothing. I dried the foreward/reverse switch with no change. i got underneath it to see what would be the most likely to get wet. There's a throttle positioning sensor kind of thing on the bottom near the pedals. If this gets wet do I have issues? I'm still getting a really weak nudge of power in foreward and reverse that lasts for 1/10 second.

Justice, if you own a multimeter start checking your pack voltage, do you hear a click when you step on the pedal, check your voltage across the solenoid. How fast were you going when you went through the puddle ( will give me an idea of what might have got wet.)

I was going at a walking or fast walking pace. The pack has 49.7 volts and I'll check the soleniod next.

I think you want to check the output of the throttle indicator device. Set the meter to ohms and have someone push the peddle while you get a reading.

How was this resolved? I have a similar problem. I hear the click when I press the peddle, but absolutely no movement. Car died after driving through two puddles about a foot deep.

First thing to do is let it dry out for a day or two.
