02 - 04 Problem
Hey All:
Here is the cart: Electric Club Car 02 - 04 somewhere in there 4x 12v trojans Nothing too special. Anyways when you step on the gas, you hear relays clicking, but the cart doesn't go anywhere, not forwards or backwards. The motor is still getting 50volts. On the motor controller, outputs S1 and S2, one is getting a grounded signal the other isn't. When I was installing my radio, speakers, and sat radio tuner, the voltage reducer's 12v output touched one of the posts on the motor. Now I have the above problem. Any fixes? I'm gonna try to reset the computer tomorrow. If that doesn't work what do you all think it is . . . motor or motor controller (thingie in the battery area?)? Motor controller can be had on ebay for like $40, motor is like $120 so it isn't a huge deal, other than a major inconvenience! --Garrett |

Re: 02 - 04 Problem
Hey-
I haven't found those. I wish I was close to the cart to take pics for y'all. :-( If I must replace the motor controller, from what I understand it must be programmed. Any idea as to why, how much, will it work without programming? Thanks for the help! --Garrett |

Re: 02 - 04 Problem
Typically I am at the shop, however I'm out of town for a 24 hour period right now. I'll be back within arms reach of the cart tomorrow. Thats how. :-)
Its a 2005 Club Car Precedent if that helps. I can find absolutely 0 information on these things online, other than purchasing them used from country clubs. --Garrett |

Re: 02 - 04 Problem
One of the big problems with the newer carts is a lot of the us just have the older carts. The newer the cart the harder it is to find information.
After U have a chance to find and check fuses , get back to us with results . Good luck |
