Best electric motor kit?
Hey guy new to the forum, but already got lots of good info. I have a 95' club car DS 48V. The motor has no torque (speed is ok 18mph) and I want to upgrade wires, controller, motor, ect. I was wondering about a good kit that has good torque and some speed anyone has used. I have been looking at the kit on Buggies Unlimited torque/speed just wondering if anyone has had experience with it. Oh yea I like to go off road mostly and use the cart to hunt with. Ill try to attach a pic. I just put an 8" lift and 25" tires. Thanks in advance for any info.

Thought you were in China. Those tires have great grip.

No worries it happens all the time Hey, with those huge meats you better go with a torque motor and let the sheer size give the speed.

D&D notors has complete combos available. Can't go wrong with them. Its all a prepackaged kit ready to bolt in and go. Your gonna need some torque...mainly depends on what you want to do.

Re: Best electric motor kit?
If your cart can run 18 on it's roof, you should be able to fly when it is on it's tires.
D&D, Plum quick and EMP all make good motor upgrades. First thing should be a cable upgrade, and that will help alittle. |

Get a D&D ES-58. I run 27" swampers on my cart and I use a D&D ES-58 and a Alltrax 500 amp controller with 2 guage wiring.
