Complete Wire Kit for 91' 36V 5 resistor
Can anyone tell me if and where I could buy an entire wiring replacement kit for my 91' CC 36V 5 resistor?
I have looked through the sponsors and been searching the net with no luck yet. I do not have the tools to build my own set and sure that there is somewhere that I can get someone that has it or is willing to make it. At this point I'm willing to go back with the same gauge's of wire for all the different wires. I just want to replace all the wiring in the cart. I'm sure it will make a difference in the operation of the cart. Thanks for any help. |

Are you talking about the 4 gauge upgrade?

Re: Complete Wire Kit for 91' 36V 5 resistor
Didn't need to be, but that would be nice. I was really just looking for an entire replacement kit for all the existing wires.
I found the thread where Oxfordlawn provided all the lengths and lug sizes for the 4 gauge. I was really hoping that I could get a set made instead of me trying to do it. I had asked this question about a year ago and ScottyB said I would probably have to make them myself. |

If you're going to replace, I'd go with the 4 gauge anyway! Do you know what is different with your cart over a controller cart - wire length / count? I'd have to get with my CC mechanic tomorrow to ask...

Those are some good measurements AND alot of wire
Does anyone know if the 5/16" battery lugs will work where the original plans call for a 1/4" lug? |

I think you need 3/8 bolt holes at the F&R and then there is a fit issue at the V-glide. Just not enough room for a lug. I think the members who have made them must have filed or ground them down? I Dunno 4 sure? Why not just upgrade to a solid state controller and PB-6

Re: Complete Wire Kit for 91' 36V 5 resistor
I went and looked on the cart and the only area I see where 1/4 inch would really be required is on the ends that connect to the v-glide. They are really tight there and I think the extra 1/16" would not fit.
Are you asking because this is a set that you can make for me? |

Re: Complete Wire Kit for 91' 36V 5 resistor
The big 5/16 hole will not work at the 2 F&R swiveling cables on the CC. You can buy some with a smaller hole. Yes, Mike can make them
Also lets clarify something here..... You said in your original post all existing wires and we are talking about battery and motor CABLES. Not the ignition and solenoid activation circuit wires. Is that correct? Just the cables, not the wires? |

Yes, We can make them to the measurements you provided. I was asking about the 1/4" ends, as I think I've got a few boxes of the smaller cable ends at the shop. Always have wondered why I have them - this might be the reason!
