Default Skool me, what cart to get?

My first post here, glad to be aboard. Looking for a new cart, leaning towards the club car cause of the aluminum frame, my goal is to be able to travel 30mph, any particular year cart would best suit for this?

I looked at the new tyger carts, very nice, and a top speed of 35mph in AC version right out of the box, but little over 8k new.

So what are my options?

That kinda speed is expensive in any cart especially an electric one. AC drive is the way to go for street speeds Did you look at the new Ezgo?

We recently converted an ezgo to AC drive. It had great performance and regenerative braking was so effective you almost wouldn't need brakes ... the cart only went 27 mph. That is pretty fast in a golf cart!

So who's parts did you use?

And yes, 27 is plenty fast. 36v or 48v ?
