Default Help Carryall wont move!!

Ok so I work for the city that i live in, im a fleetmaintenace mechanic...police department just got a 2001 carryall. The peope who donated it to them told them that it needed batterys and it would be good to go...well $500 later cart will not move!!! I just replaced solenido and resisor and nothing. it acks like it wants to move then stops, however if i jump the solenido it works great!!!! any ideas on what i should do???any help will be greatly appericated!

By jumping the solenoid you have confirmed that the MCOR, the controller, and motor are good. Your problem is either in the ignition circuit or the solenoid. The small posts on the solenoid need 1 pos & 1 neg to activate the contactor. Check them and see what you have? If you have neg present on 1 small post bring a pos jumper wire and see if you can activate the solenoid? No? then the solenoid is bad. Yes, then the ignition or micro-switches are bad..... Good Luck

ok so i tested for power at the solenoid on the smaller red wire(control wire?) i have 49.7volts on the yellow wire(ground?) nothing. now if the yellow wire is my ground what controls it? I can take a remote ground run it to the lug where yellow wire goes and presto everything works!!!!! now for the even stranger thing is my reverse buzzer works when it wants to, sometimes it dosent work at all other times works like a champ?????? is this part of my problem or another issues entirely? Thanks for any info, this stupid cart is kicking my a$$. Ive already got over 10 hours invested lol please help!!!!!!

There are wiring diagrams in the stickies at the top of this section can you copy and paste the one that best matches your cart here?
