Re: solenoid problem
That's nuts. It sounds like it is operating the oposite of how it is suppose to???
Check the micro-switch inside the Vglide |

Re: solenoid problem
I have the same problem as you, and no one has responded to my thread unfortunately:
http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...ler-issue.html I have a feeling it's the speed control because the F/R switch, V glide, on/off switch, Tow/Run switch, OBC, and motor seem to be working just fine. I wouldn't doubt the speed control burned up because of the lift/tires and how long we operate the cart at WOT. Basically our motor isn't getting power from the speed controller, so that being said I just went ahead and bought a Alltrax DCX400PD+ |

Re: solenoid problem
Also, since my cart is a Regen II you can't apparently bypass the OBC to check if it's the OBC preventing the cart from running or not. I would assume that if the OBC was bad it wouldn't charge correctly.

Re: solenoid problem
Hey johnysland , sounds like you may have a short to ground Chassis someplace.
With the Volt meter set to ohms , connect the + lead to the first Battery + and the Neg - lead to the Chassis, Reading ?, Press peddle , Reading ? On CC sparkys you should always read infinity if it goes to 0 ohms , something is shorted ? |

Re: solenoid problem
cool thanks, ill try that in the morning, also oddly enough i tapped the micro switches lightly with a rubber mallet for shits and geegles and the golf cart worked until i switched from forward to reverse then dead again at any rate ill check for a grouning problem and im going to replace all three micro's, maybe its one of these issues, thanks again

Re: solenoid problem
i just think its odd that when i press the gas pedal i loose power to 1 side of the solenoid, The guy i bought the micro switches from thinks it could be the battteries, but power seems good other than it has been getting slower in reverse, they are putting out 51volts i will load test them soon but i don't think that would be the problem.

Re: solenoid problem
Sounds like it time for a new solinoid (do not use automotive solinoids)
