Default battery cable question

whats better in a 2ga, lots of small strands or the 10-15 larger strand copper wire?

Most folks lean towards lotsa' strands, as in welding/battery charger type cable.

Most definetly many strands. The larger the strand count the better.

Do not use residential/commercial distribution wire. No good for this application. Welding cable is superb.
