question....
Since i don't know what the object is i couldn't think of any other way to lable the topic. Under the seat there is a plastic thin box that one of the battery cables runs through on it's way to the motor. this box also has wires attached to the controller. What is this box and what does it do?
my problem is i'm running new 2ga wire and it won't fit through said box. can i bypass it, drill it, or should i just go with 4ga for that one leg? any ideas would be a gracious help as always. oh yea, 95 cc series cart. Thanks |

Re: question....
OMG Dude ! that is the OBC, the "on board computer". Basically the charger brain. If you disconnect it the charger will not work. Here is the deal, run your new cable and the ODC cable ..... 2 cables ... then it will work

Re: question....
Roger that! after a little more research i figured out what it was but still couldn't figure out how to get around it. Why does the cable run through it?

Re: question....
The OBC is the brain for the charger. It reads the voltage etc. Without it the charger won't know when to come on or shut off......
