Jacking a car by the axle
Can jacking up a golf cart by the axle bend it? I've done it with autos before and not had any issues, but I recently had my '05 DS lifted and now there's a bounce in the back. I've tried rotating the tires and putting different ones on and still hasn't solved it. Before I had the cart lifted by a dealer, I jacked up the rear by the axle for something I was doing under there. Wondering if that did any damage that is now showing itself with the lift kit and stiffer suspension, etc.

Re: Jacking a car by the axle
By the 'axle' I am assuming you mean the axle tube? THe axle is hidden from the eye. The answer is no. Likely you are dealing with a bad wheel or tire .
