Re: Is this a good buy
Ok,
so if they are newer batteries? If they are older bad batteries? I also read on another thread to look at the battery supports for corrosion He's asking 700 is it possible do you think depending on condition to get it lower I know, it depends on a number of factors Just trying to get some advice |

Re: Is this a good buy
6-800 for new batteries, 125 or so if the batt. tray is rotted. check the steering ,suspension, tires and especially the frame( this one is aluminum but check for corrosion or cracks.check t he negitive batt. post for build dates on the batts.there should be a letter. a=jan b=feb etc. then a number signifying the year of construction of the batt.

Re: Is this a good buy
I am new to the cart scene myself, but I just bought a 92' model with 08' batteries for $400. After getting it home and doing a lot of reading on here I find that I am going to have to bite the bullet and invest in new batteries......with that expense I am probably border line of having in the cart what I can maybe get back out of it. I would have been sick paying $700 and then another $550 for batteries unless it was A MUCH newer model with better resale value.
Thats just something to think about. Also IMO, I would NEVER pay anyone on Craigslist their asking price Mine was on there for $550. and I paid $400 for it....remember all they can say is "NO". |
