Since your cart had 4, 12 volt batteries you connect your power for the lights to the front right battery on the passenger side, (factory OEM way of doing it.)
But… it’s always a good idea to use a 48 volt to 12 volt converter since you’ll then be using the entire battery pack instead of just that one battery... also better this way if you ever want to add additional accessories like radio, etc.
