I would check the solenoid first, if you added batteries to make it 48v and had a 36v solenoid you may have burned up the solenoid.

....Or the micros ? No telling what gave.... just grab a wiring diagram from the stickies at the top of this section and start tracing out all of the circuits.

You put 48v in a 5 solenoid cart
The solenoid closest to the drivers side is the master .... all the rest are speeds .... each one has a micro in the silver box under the drivers seat. Please try to learn the difference between a solenoid and a microswitch, Use google? |

Yes i Did. The cart never moved though. I read on other forums in here where you could as long as you where full pressing the pedal. Now the cart dosent move. From what I have read about it and just tested it that the master solenoid is bad.

Re: 1986 club car wont move new to forum
Ahh, the joys of modding a cart.
"I wonder what will happen if I....." When contemplating these upgrades, you might need more information before you just do something without the full understanding of what might happen. I'm guessing that if the cart ran before, you over-voltaged something like a solenoid coil, the throttle assembly or burned a connection somewhere. I would go here: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...-diagrams.html Find your wiring diagram and get the digital meter out. Post up what you've done and checked and we may be able to help you out. There's lots of cart experienced guys here to assist your troubleshooting. |
