Do you know which connections are which? THere are three small? Correct? One is 48v power to power up the controller the other 2 are the throttle input. try both input signals you have?

You r last post (pic) is confusing me. I assume the three terminals at the top are small and the bottom ones are larger? If so the 3 small are 2 for throttle input and 1 to power the controller. It may be wired wrong? Whay go to the limit switch and the solenoid? Are those 2 both 48v power?THere should only be one power.....

Yes the three at the top are small.

I traced the wires through as per the wiring diagram attached

Top Row

The red wire (small) goes to the solenoid

The green wire (small) goes to the top of limit switch 3

The yellow wire (small) goes to the potentiometer

Middle Row

The blue wire (thick) goes to the one side of the F/R switch

The black wire (medium) goes to the ODC

The black wire (thick) goes through the OBC

The purple wire (thin) goes to the potentiometer

The red/white wire (thin goes to the top of limit switch 2

Bottom Row

The yellow wire (thick goes to the solenoid

The green wire (thick) goes to the motor

Okay do you have it connected like the diagram? Red is power up for the controller. Check it. Have you chaecked for the OHMs reading between the yellow and green wire when you push the gas peddle (key on & in gear) those are the 2 you want ..... It should work unless the controller is the wrong throttle configuration for the pot????

OK i will check thanx scottyb

Yes its connected like the diagram

do you mean this one to be power up The red wire (small) goes to the solenoid

and

these for ohms

The green wire (small) goes to the top of limit switch 3

The yellow wire (small) goes to the potentiometer

if the controller is the wrong one for the pot do you have any suggestions which controller i would need

Check this out the green to the limit switch(Microswitch or micro) GOES to the pot via the white then black. don't ask me why? CC likes to make these carts more complicated than neccessary But the ohms signal from the pot should be readable with the ohms meter at the green and yellow wires just disconnect from the controller and connect them to the meter. They should read 5K-0 YES or NO? (if no what do they read?) THe red wire should bring POSITIVE 48v to the controller to power it up with key on in gear, YES or NO?

OK

I've done the tests you suggested above

with the ohms meter at the green and yellow wires just disconnect from the controller and connect them to the meter. They should read 5K-0 Yes it reads 5.79K down to 0 ohms

THe red wire should bring POSITIVE 48v to the controller to power it up with key on in gear Yes it reads 50 volts when i press the pedal down and the solenoid clicks

Thanks
