Default 12v Battery Add On Pics

I have looked in several forums and have not been able to locate any pics that show a seperate 12v battery installed for accessories on a 48v Club Car DS IQ. I have seen some for EZ GO under the seat but not able to find any mine. Any pics or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Here is one idea. I just mounted a bar that went from frame rail to frame rail so the aux battery could sit there.

Thanks TDawg but what is that for a battery and how long do u get out of it? I run lights with LED tail and markers and am planning on adding a stereo.

Went in easy since the body was off..now just a wee bit tricky to get out... simply disconnect cables and cut battery in half then remove

You have to understand, you could put a much bigger battery than the one in my pic in that spot. If you are going to run a stereo then you probably would want to. Just lights would be ok with a similar battery.

Thanks for the pics guys. They reinforce my thoughts that a 12v voltage reducer from the main pac is still the best idea. Your amp draw just doesn't meet the cost/hassle test for the additional charger and 12v battery hook-up.

Not that this is a club car, but.......

Since I had to build a front bumper anyway (needed a place to mount some lights) this is what I did. Look at the square frame work under the bumper.

The solar panel is just there as a mock up. I still can't decide if I should mount it or not. Anyone????

Look under "Golf Cart Pictures for My Mess" and it shows how I added battery over front suspension on my Club Car. Very similar to what factory does with older lights etc.
