Default Thanks Scottyb!

Scotty, thanks for all of your help! here are some before and afters of my blood sweat and tears (all literal). She's not done, but getting there. I started with a $50 cart off of craig's list. Now I have about $1600 in two weeks... total amount of time I have owned it. I'm exhausted. Talk to you soon, I'm sure.

Excellent looking results Would you mind sharing what lift you used and what size tires those are? I'm trying to decide on lift for my club car now. Thanks.

I really wanted a Jake's spindle lift, but I ended up building a Z-lift in my garage. Partly because of the price difference and partly because I was excited about doing some welding. I went about 4" in the rear and 5" in the front. The tires are 22/11/12. Rides great and I honestly cant tell a loss of power with the bigger tires (now that I replaced the solenoid). Attached is a picture of my HMJ lift.

Very nice. Unfortunately, I don't have the skills to build my own.

I'm torn between the All Sports sport lifts and the Jakes spindle lifts. Also not sure if I should go 3or4" or 6". My concern is torque loss.

Why did you replace just the solenoid? I'm trying to figure out what all I'd need to change to get away with a 6" jakes spindle lift and 22" tires or maybe a 4" All sports and 22" tires.

I am sure 4" will clear 22". I am impressed with Jake's, not sure about the other. My cart is an 87 CC (36v) operated by solenoids and micro switches one of them went bad during my rebuild. I noticed little if any loss in torque but did pick up top end due to size... Very happy with the end product.

That's great. I just saw your other thread on the solenoid a few seconds ago. Glad you got it worked out.

Jakes spindle lift 4" will clear 22s just fine. 6" for the 23s. It is a very simple install with lots of ground clearance.

Scotty, in the spindle lift I think it only comes in 3" or 6". The All Sports was the 4" lift.

That said, would the Jakes 3" cover 22's?

I was looking at possibly something like 20/10/8 on a 3" or 22/11/10 on a 6". hopeful to get lift without having to immediately upgrade electric.
