91 CCds runs with key off or on

just replaced FR switch and now cart stays on with key off. Have had this cart for 6 months and don't really understand it. thanks

Why was the F/R switch replaced to start with ?

Are you really a Preacher?
Is the cart a controller or resistor cart? They made both at that time. And yes why was the F&R replaced? DIdi you find the correct wiring diagram in the stickies at the top of this section?

don't know if controller or resistor cart. yes, am preacher. member gave me this cart bout 6 months ago. replaced FR because contacts had melted. took me forever....don't know a lot bout carts. know that it has something called a v something.
hey, i really appreciate your help...my expertise is in the pulpet.

Okay would help if we knew what system you have.... Resistor coils are mounted behind the batteries. They look like a row of bed springs. Maybe a heat shield between them and the batteries?
Can is running when off because you may have inadvertently charged the solenoid activation circuit OR the solenoid is welded closed with constant continuity .....
Don't worry about the Vglide yet

one of my church members thought it might be solenoid. i think i can replace that. have been playing at our little nine hole for past two years and came to realize that i know very little bout golf and a lot less bout carts.
