What is time to recharge on volt meter?
Seems like a silly question, but want to make sure I am not running my batteries too low before charging. Would like to depend on the volt meter. I guess I could just keep comparing with multimeter and compare against in dash.
I have the basic "sweeping" gauge with (red/E green/ F/CHG/red) are these pretty accurate? Sorry for the newby question.

Re: What is time to recharge on volt meter?
That's an analog gauge and they are as accurate as anything.
Never run your batteries below a 50% charge. My guess on your gauge would be about 1/2 way in the green. You can confirm this with a digital voltmeter, 50% is about 36.3v on a 36v cart and 48.4v on a 48v cart.
The best way to charge your buggy is anytime you have more than 15 minutes of peddle time put it on the charger for it's complete cycle.
The more batteries are left below 95% charged, the more sulfates build up on the plates, the shorter your battery life is.
