anyone running a DCX600PDPlus
I know I am going to go to a 500amp controller minimum but I can get a 600 amp for about $100 more. Trying to decide if it's worth the extra money. My cart is in the picture and we live in a hilly areas, I often use my cart to pull others off of our paved trails as I work on carts on the side. Worst case scenario would be two carts with 4 people on each (mine and the one I am towing). Kinda leaning towards the 600 but didn't know if it it would be that much difference. Opinions are appreciated.

A 400 would be good enough, 500 is a plus - 600 is overkill IMO

Hey cheep , it depends on the motor you are using, stock ...etc.
Look at the HP vs. motor /controller CHART here http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/attac...hp_ratings.jpg |

I'll probably lean towards teh DCX500 as I can get it for well under $500 new where the DCX600 is about $100 more. |

Re: anyone running a DCX600PDPlus
D&D and Alltrax both told me that a 600 amp was overkill and not needed for a 48V cart.
I have a hi torque D&D motor - went with 500 amp based on both their recs. |

Re: anyone running a DCX600PDPlus
again it depends on the motor whether it can handle the extra ump
look at the D3080 at 700amp, but also look at the D377 , figure out the motor and then choose the controller. If D&D does not have a big enough motor shop around , try PQ or for a lot of $$ go with the NEW GE D3080 |
