club car won't go some times when pedal pushed, hear click
If i push pedal numerous times will take off. problem comes and goes. Same problem in forward and reverse. I hear a clicking sound in rear of cart and but no movement
However, I do not want to buy parts without insuring i have isolated the problem. This is on a 96 stock Club Car. Batteries are fully charged. I have taken apart the F/R switch and cleaned the contacts. Solinoid or "pot" which is it? Does someone have a troubleshooting guide? My wife can't scoot around the park!! Thanks for your help. 96 CC would have a Potentiometer under the floor giving the throttle input signal to the controller.... If the solenoid is clicking then I suspect the Pot. is going bad. You can test the out put. it should read from 0-5k on the ohm scale of your multi meter

I know from personal experience that a bad solenoid can still "click" I wouldnt immediately assume the pot is bad...
