forward somtimes/03 IQ
I hqve a 2003 IQ that always goes in reverse.Sometimes it won't go forward.I changed the switch but it didn't fix it.When it won't go forward the solenoid does not click. It always goes in reverse.Any Ideas on this? Thanks in advance.

Re: forward somtimes/03 IQ
Oops! I meant the forward micro is intermittent = going bad. THere are 3 on the F&R = reverse buzzer, reverse power circuit, forward power circuit.... you can see which is which when you put the lever in gear.... replace the forward micro Or test it for continuity with your voltmeter?

Re: forward somtimes/03 IQ
It has occured that not everybody knows where the micros are located..... this is not your same year but you will get the idea if you don't already know what to look for.... every GC shop carries the switches. THis cart is older than yours but, the 3 micro switches are the same.....

This is a 2003 DS IQ.We are talking a rocker switch. There are no micros involved.I changed the rocker switch.Still same issue.Sometimes goes forward, but always go backwards.

Re: forward somtimes/03 IQ
PS; IQ help needed , this could be a over voltage signal being sent to the controller causing it to shut down.
IQ's are difficult to trouble shoot due to the level of automation between batteries, motor and controller. #1 check the entire pack Voltage , and post here #2 a authorized dealer can connect this to a Diag Term (very expensive piece of equip) and read the error code and tell you why it will not go. |

Re: forward somtimes/03 IQ
Yes i agree.A controller won't tell on itself.I have a IQDM computer and it shows no error codes.I am going to swap out the controller and see if this will fix it.
