How does one get a hold of Club Car Co.?
I have gone to Club Car's website and sent several emails. They have not responded. There is no telephone number for district managers or anyone else. I would like to talk to some manager but don't know how. Does anyone know how to get a hold of them? |

Your local dealer should be able to get you in contact with a district person.

Yea, but I wanted to avoid the dealer if possible. They were suppose to have put in a new obc but it is not resetting and doing the diagnostic check which was my problem before. I wanted to check with CC to determine if new ocbs are still doing this.

Why not just go back to the dealer with the problem and give him a chance to fix it?

I took it in and they said the batteries were no good, nor was the ocb. They said it would be a while before they got the parts and the ocb in. After nearly two months I called and they said the parts "just came in" and they would fix it. I found out later that dealers have to pay CC for parts first when things are repaired under warranty, then CC will reimburse the dealer. I'm sure the delay therefore was that it sometimes takes 90 days for CC to pay up and the dealer did not want to be out of the cash that long so he made me wait. Well, I got the cart home with new batteries and ocb and after the first round of golf the thing still would not reset. I tried after a second round and the same thing but the batteries were fully charged the next day. I tried a friend's charger and it did not reset either so it has to be the ocb again. I wanted to contact CC because I am just not sure I can trust these people. I'm not sure they even put a new ocb in there and I know for a fact they did not test it. But it looks like since the CC company is totally unresponsive, I have no choice but to take the cart back and see what they will do about it. |

New parts are not always "Known Good" parts.
You can always get a defective new part. Plus anything electrical can go out at at time. So like Scotty said give the local dealer a chance to make it right for you. |

Well, I just found a number for CC and called them. They asked for my zip code and transfered me to a dealer about 100 miles from me. I talked to the service manager and he said the new ocb does not do a reset like the old ones. So, I guess it is working properly.

Just for grins I wonder if you call the repair dealer and told him it was not resetting .... I wonder if you would get the same answer?
I have not heard this before? Anyone else know about this feature on the new OBC? I am expecting one to arrive today for a replacement in a '97 cart |

DC carts reset. I was told that the Precedents did also? I have one that will be getting a new OBC today and will report on MY findings...
BTW - it doesn't take 90 days to get parts, but then again, I know what place he is talking about... |
