No difference in 2ga to 4ga with the stock controller or anything up to 400a.

2 % less loss , but if the motor does not need the extra 2% then NO.

The motor can handle just so much , once U reach thet limit it stops untill U throw something Bigger in that needs it !

This might be a dumb question but is there anything negative about upgrading the cables from 6ga to 2 ga? If it improves the torque or not,,, can upgrading them adversely effect anything else?

It will be just fine to use 2ga with no adverse effects, be sure to do all of them.

Thanks Guys, I really appreciate the answers,,,,and find there is no substitute for good advise from people who have the knowledge and experience yet nothing to gain from passing it on.

I already like tinkering with my cart and can see just how addicting it will probably get. I've got a million more questions but I'll wait to drive you Guys nuts with them after I make some of these simple upgrades and see what happens.

I'm going to start off changing the cables because I'd like to see if there is any noticeable difference. I just got a set of ramps so I can load and haul it in my truck when I pull our trailer so the rest will just have to wait for a while. I have a feeling that I could be upgrading and modifying the cart for quite a long time.

I also wanted to say that I checked out a lot of sites and you are right about the sponsors having as good or better prices than most. I will definitely support them.

Here's what it looks like now,,,, but who know what the future holds. Note that the top covers the rear seat,,,,,, because that's where I usually get stuck riding.
