Talking Drove a stock newer cart today, not as strong as old cc

I test drove 6-7 new (or newer) ez gos today. Some were lifted and some were stock. My cart is an 87cc and is the only one I have really ever driven. More of a comment than a question, I couldn't get over how much stronger (torque and speed) mine was than a stock cart. I'm sure with controller upgrade they would be better. I guess Iwas just nicely surprised on how strong mine is compared to a new one. However, I realize I don't have the ability to easily upgrade mine. Just found it weird with such an old buggy!

I was driving to help my brother find one. It was hard to keep telling him, no mine is stronger than that one too.

Let me defuse this quickly! I am not baggin on ez's. They are awesome carts. Drive great! Not to mention, I think they look cooler too. I'm assuming it is a "Resistor vs controller" thing...

when you say newer ....? what year were the carts .. were they series carts or pds... we have to have all the details before we can start to compare apples to apples...

I am a clubcar fan but I also like the ezgo s and you are blessed to have a resistor car that has power as most of them are dogs.
