36 Volt Resister Up Grade

I lifted my cart and put bigger tires on it. I bought a D & D motor ES-58 and a 4855 Alltrax Controller. I was very eager to get speed & torque and did not realise my cart does not have a controller. What is my easiest conversion and does anyone have step by step instructions with parts needed. Should I convert to 48 volt? Thanks for your Help. My serial Number is 9512-428750.

Why dont you just put your cart back like it was and sell it,buy a 48volt car and put the motor and controller onit or is the controller 36volt?I guess its according to how deep your pockets are.

that controller is 36 to 48v He would just need a solenoid and pot hooked up..... If he is mechanical it is easy enough ...if not ????

Your f/r switch is different and maybe an OBC and different batteries,and a 48 volt charger,plus cables,plus charging receptacle,lots of things come into play.There is companies like b.u. that have these kits and I know sombody that used one and had good results.

What throttle input is your controller set up for..... I doubt it is compatible with an MCOR ... I can't remember if that is an option in the program?

Okay, Thanks. I have brand new Trojan T-105 6v, I'm going to see if the distributer will trade me for 6 of the 8volt to start out and get a HD soleinoid and a pot box. I'll keep ya posted on how things go.
