Default 05 IQ questions for a new BGW member

sorry if this post is all over the place. ok here we go. i use to hang around on the cough..bu.. site and didnt really have alot of luck there. Other day i found this site and after reading in some of the old posts, i can see that this is where i should have been all along.... light years ahead of b-peeeuuw. i'm absolutely new to this forum. I use to have an old marathon gasser but recently sold it and purchased an 05 IQ DS 48v model club car. so far i really like the cart. its bone stock as of right now but i have big plans for the future. i do, however, have a few questions about this model... First off, i found an old post with a wire diagram for an 03 club car iq, im guessing that will work for mine too? i guess i could get my sorry behind out and look at the cart and see if it matches then i will know huh. well, i notice a little whine coming from the rear somewhere, not bad, just enough to make it sound a little like a jetsons car. my dad has an ezgo 400 amp, with speed motor and it makes no noise whatsoever when running. i did check the oil in the rear and it was full, and oil looked good. i also noticed that the rear tires never spin freely.. is this normal? not in nuetral, not in tow, nothin. i mean they spin but not freely. this is where i think the noise may be coming from.. maybe a rubbing? like i said, i know nothing about this cart. it could be completely normal. i was also reading on the regen braking that when you let off the pedal the cart slows down.... mine dont. it will coast just like dads ezgo, but now it will not let me coast faster down hills than the cart can go... so is this normal? i'm not really complaining about anything as the cart seems to function fine, just want to make sure the cart is as it should be before i start in on fixing it up. so thanks for the opportunity to ask a couple questions, and i hope i have been somewhat clear in asking them. so far i am really impressed with this forum and hope to hang around for some time.. thanks, justin. *i was gonna add a pic of the cart but it was a camera phone and it will be sideways on here, but i'm sure you've all seen a stock cart before.

Welcome to BGW
The wine you hear is normal its just the electric motor, where its quiet you tend to hear more things.

Yup typical club car noise, but keep an eye on it if it gets loud to the point of ppl riding with you ask whats that noise! you need to check motor armature end bearing and axle bearings,
