Not trying to hi-jack this thread , but I also have a straight DS cart and have considered the PQ motor (The Bandit I presume). Will that PQ motor perform well with the stock controller? Are they reliable and do they hold up well? How about slow speed operation?

I go through Fort Mill every couple of months so I could save some $$ on shipping.

All you need is a 7/16 wrench for 3 bolts, and a 1/2 wrench for on bolt. I think those are the sizes and maybe a screwdriver to help get the motor started to slide off. Hope this helps.

I have had a PQ bandit in my 03 for about 6 months now, have had no problems, run time seems to be about the same as with the original motor. I have never heard anything bad as far as the quality of a PQ motor.
