still exploring options for '97 club car.
ok.....
swaping the fe290 motor out of my '97 clubcar will solve my power problems........but would cause my cart to run in reverse for forward etc..blah, blah, blah. i can put high speed gears in the transaxel to overcome the lower reverse gear ratio, but would like to know what the outcome would be. how much of my top speed would i get back at what rpms with stock tires? i have considered some pretty wild options: see thread 'Hillbilly solution for 97 clubcar'. i just don't want to overlook something obvious....and i want my cart to live again as soon as possible so i can start beating on it again. |
