Post Upgrading controller in IQ cart

I currently have the curtis 1510-5201 controller in my 2002 IQ club car. I'm thinking of upgrading the controller to get more speed and some torque. Do I need to upgrade anything else/ I have 4g wires.

If it's more speed first then I'd get an upgraded motor first, try it and see if that will do the trick for you. The cost on a rebuilt motor should be less then a new controller as well.

If you look in my signature you'll see which motor I used. You can go directly to their website and look to see what they have to offer.
