What speed should i expect?
2000 DS 48 volt fully stock
300 amp curtis controller 3.1hp OEM motor Conditions Flat (road) 25 mph wind gusts Batteries 100% charged Single person Added weight HD leaf springs 30lbs 12 volt aux battery Just GPS'd it and got an average of 12mph Does that seem about right? Havnt put new 4 gauge cables and lugs on yet, wondering what to expect after that install too? |

Re: What speed should i expect?
12 mph is about what a stock club car should do.

Re: What speed should i expect?
Wind is hurting you, so is the windshield. New cables and lugs MAY help if some of yours look like this one:

Re: What speed should i expect?
I doubt you will notice much if any diff in speed , it should help with the torque though.

We put a Bandit Plum Quick motor in my buddies 95 Series CC DS and went from 12ish to 18ish on a flat dirt road. We haven't tried it on pavement yet. His is rigged similar to yours and has the factory rear seat which has the enclosed sides so it isn't light. Throw his 275 butt in there and it definitely isn't light. Good luck! |
