Default 2002 club car DS

I bought a 2002 Club Car DS to rig out for hunting/joy riding in hilly/muddy areas before I bought the ezgo you see at the right. I love the speed and torque of the club car, but I got a good deal on the ezgo with all the options (rear flip flop seat, dipped camo body, lift kit, larger tires, etc.) I am thinking of converting the ezgo to 48 volt. Is there any reason I should go with the club car vs. the ezgo? Does the 2002 club car cart have regenerative braking? If so, how much does it really help in charging the batteries? Any other advantages of the club car?
Thanks
