Re: Motor?
you don't need the mounting tab. Many replacment motors dont have the tab. You can also look at some and it has a provision to add the tab, then look at a parts supply house and they will sell the individual part.

Re: Motor?
So by just using the 3 bolts and not the bolt for the mounting tab would be sufficient?

Re: Motor?
Update
Did some research and i dont think its a 19 spline i think he totally miscounted. Its a 10 spline ? The ref # is A95-4005A 36 Volt, 3.5hp 10 Spline, series motor for Club Car 6-224A |

Re: Motor?
Ive put alot of 36 volt motors into 48 volt cars, as well as some really high voltage cars to see when they blow up. Anyway, EZGO did make a 36 volt 10 spline motor, but I don't think it will fit in a CC. Now , I will say I have never tried to put on in, but I think the end caps are different and thats why I think it wont fit.
The best up grade for a 36 volt into a 48 volt car is the some what limited 2.9 36 volt motor, those things run great in a 48 volt car. |
