Default DCX500 interesting issue

So I just installed my DCX500 and big honkin' solenoid. I am no stranger to carts, I repair them as a side business.... I know what I am doing.. this is why his has me befuddled. I wired everything to the schematic, triple checked everything, all my custom wires are color coded so they match the drawing spot on. But when I go to test, it runs backwards in the F position, so I instantly think I hooked up my F1/F2 fields back words, nope.... They are wired correct, F1 goes to S1, F2 goes to S2, A1 and A2 are correct, tripple check again and I have not made a mistake anywhere, but in the end I did switch the F1 and F2 at the motor to make it run right.

Everything runs perfect, but if you follow F1 on the controller it's going to S2.... and F2 is going to S1....

So what's the deal?

From what I remember you're not the first one that this has happened to... the fix was to just switch the wires. It's been stated here before on BGW a while back, maybe 6 months.

You dont swap Field coil wires, you swap brush wires.

Well, I've contacted Alltrax to see what they have to say. Doesn't make sense that I should have had to swap wires like that.

Reply from ALLTrax...

Troy,

They had some motors with the field winding reversed than the others so when you hook some of them up per our schematic it runs reverse in forward and vice versa.

Swapping F1 & F2 on either the controller or motor is the correct way to compensate for that.
