Re: 99 cc won't go
solenoid may be clicking, that doesn't neccessarily mean you are getting voltage to your controller...
questions: 1. does your car attempt to bump forward slightly? 2. is everything stock? if it bumps forward just a little, then change th solenoid... ~~~ if not, then check your f/r switch, make sure you don't have a burn there, then check motor wires and controller wires etc..etc... |

Re: 99 cc won't go
It does not bump at all.Cart is stock.I was following the trouble shooting guide after checking solenoid and I was testing the v-glide,got late and went home.I didn't think about the f and r switch.I have a spare one I could hook up tomorrow.

Re: 99 cc won't go
that is the route I would check, if the v-glide is sending an inaccurate signal, you will usually do something..
more than likely its a wire, controller, or f/r |

Re: 99 cc won't go
Can you tell me what usually causes an inacturate signal to the v-glide.I have been doing the readings thru the 6 pin connector?

Re: 99 cc won't go
you are better off doing the readings off the wires connected to the speed controller...
innaccurate v-glide readings, on your car, are caused by the resistors on the back... |

Re: 99 cc won't go
I have ruledout the v-glide.I am testing the controller.Removed half speed reverse wire.Put + on + 48 volt bat then - on blue wire on f and r and I get no 48 volt reading.I then took two wires off controller small blue and small yellow I believe and I get 5000k at rest and 0 at full throttle.I think It is the controller.

Re: 99 cc won't go
5k - 0k is normal... v-glide is good... as is the micro-switches and wiring coming from it..
solenoid is clicking so computer is not your problem, neither is the activating micros witches... ~~~~~~~~ which blue wire did you test from? the blue wire thats on the moving cam or the blue wire on the solid doesnt move part? if its the solid part then you should have a reading there when you have the pedal depressed.. so you are right either controller or wiring from the controller. It's nine years old, its had a good life.. :-) |

Re: 99 cc won't go
I am testing at the solid blue wire on f and r switch.I have a 04 cc so I'll put that controller on and see if that solves this issue.
Thanks,Tom |
