Is that the motor you PMed me about? Any series motor will work. What year cart did it come out of? I don't think they made anything but series motors in 36v

The only thing is the RPM's
My 48v cart has a stock 3.1hp motor and someone said in another thread it was around 3500rpm where as this one is 2300rpm |

The seller says it was pulled from an Ezgo flat bed

I think on 48v it will hit about 4500 rpms. You can't put an Ezgo motor in a Club Car.

Re: Is this a candidate for the 36v motor theory
Yes i realize that. Is it because of the splines on 19 on Ez go and 10 on CC.
I think the seller has his add mixed up |

Re: Is this a candidate for the 36v motor theory
No, it should not...... even though your orig. is prolly pretty punny If you find it to be lacking low end torque then maybe a controller is needed. But when you increase volts the amperage drawn is actually decreased... I have a 36v now on 48v with a 300 amp controller which is doing just fine A bigger controller would be nice ...

Re: Is this a candidate for the 36v motor theory
Update, missed out on the one above, however today picked up a 36 volt Club Car motor, 10 spline.
The ref # is 1012191, so i did a little research and found some conflicting info in that some say its a 2hp and some a 2.5hp. If its a 2hp then i would assume its not a candidate for the 36volt motor on a 48 volt cart because of the low Hp |
